Self-hosting and privacy guides for the average person, by the average person.

How To Anon is the place for people who care about tech and privacy but don’t come from a technical background.

Too many guides assume you already know how to code, tinker with settings from scratch, or want to vanish into the woods and never be seen again. Ask a question elsewhere and you often get mocked instead of helped.

Not here.

We started as non-technical people ourselves. We write clear, no-nonsense guides in plain language and build a community where anyone can learn practical digital hygiene and privacy, without the gatekeeping or extremes.

Our goal is simple: help you learn How to Anon.
